It has been an honor to support divisions across the NC DNCR networks as the Program Coordinator for the North Carolina African American Heritage Commission and develop informational resources and digital content to amplify Black History Month and Juneteenth events taking place across the state.

Public art can be a fascinating mix of cultural, social, and political commentary that has the power to impact a community, and community spaces, in multiple ways. It can establish a sense of connection and identity in an area within the community. As technologies advance, so do our methods for creative expression. This non-traditional multimedia thesis, rooted in interactive and graphic design, explores the cultural contributions of contemporary public art and considers the possible influence and implications of digital animation as public art in Raleigh, North Carolina.
